Sandy, Utah
The area around Sandy, Utah was mostly utilized as farmland available in the less crowded southern suburb of Salt Lake City, although mining did become more prevalent in the years after the Pony Express. For the Sequicentennial, there was a good turnout of artists, musicians, and fans of history that all came to see the switching of the mochila.
