Martin's Cove, Wyoming

We were ahead of schedule one day and veered off the trail a minute to visit a couple other National Historic Landmarks; Independence Rock and Devil's Gate are two instantly recognizeable linchpins to the American West landscape. Independence Rock is now protected, so that the only signatures on it are the original ones from the 1800's!
