A stage line, then freight line, then steam locomotive followed the Pony Express trail and established what is now known as Ely, Nevada. The city didn't boom proper until the discovery of copper in the ealrly 1900's, so in the time of the Pony Riders, this stop was wild and desolate. Today, there are classic turn of the century gambling halls and hotels that bring back over 100 years. A beautiful place to make it or break it!
