Courthouse and Jail Rocks, Nebraska

Courthouse and Jail Rock are unmistakeable icons on the Nebraska plains. First noted by explorers and fur traders in the early 1800's, it became a picturesque rest stop for emigrants and pioneers aiming to cross the swollen Big Blue River into the frontier. This year, the Pony Express re-riders looked at home racing through the scenery!
