Austin, Nevada

According to its last census, Austin, Nevada has 340 permanent residents. A gem in the midst of frontier, the coffee was warm and the sandwiches kept us going as we turn off the paved road and onto the real Pony Express offroad trail. Story goes Austin was founded on a silver rush after a Pony Express rider's horse kicked over a rock. Maybe we'll get lucky too and finally rent that second microphone!
